Sounds like the Houthis are free to continues shooting at shipping in the Red Sea, just not our Navy.   So much for enforcing freedom of navigation.

Also, as we have previously noted, we face deeply concerning shortages of ammo and projectiles of various sorts.

In addition to the predictable MSNBC snark, what I regard as a key point is missed:

America was unable to guarantee freedom of the seas, even over goatfukkers like the Houthis and, a point I have been making frequently, the evolution of the technology of war is what makes this so.   As we see here, American military might was for naught-- and, also unmentioned by the article, we were digging far too deep into our already pathetic stores of ammo.
