What if indeed one person forcibly yanked the ball out of another's hands?
Apparently, that is not a problem. or did the image misrepresent what really happened - maybe both vying for full control of the ball?

even though he has zero power over the those who decide who gets the HOF:

I still feel Pete has to be kept out to set the example.
Of course he was on of the best most consistent leadoff hitters of all time , but....

Alex Ovechkin broke one of Wayne Gretzky's 54 records, regular season goals.
Total points, goals and assists 2857, is a Gretzky record he will never break.
Goals scored in the playoffs (122) is another.

Said of Luke Easter he was the only player who could hit home runs as far as the Babe
Luke was gunned down in a robbery, one of the earliest Black major leaguers:

I thought I would move this over to a sports thread. Great story about 'Jimmy Reese', by the way.

Warren Miller:, narrator of ski films for about 50 years.

Are you in his videos?
"No, but I bumped into him one time skiing at Big Sky, MT."
------------------------------
I found the Warren Miller footage from Big Sky skiing that year :

14 minute mark or so. No it's not me but I've skied some of those upper chutes. (I don't do airborne.) By the 25 minute mark they have a tram to the top of Big Sky, no need to hike up anymore. On a clear day you can see across Yellowstone to the Grand Teton, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana from there.
As close as I came to a brush with fame, I was in a promotional video for Park City powder cats. It disappeared on the internet.
This isn't me:

I was asked to waterski for a Minnesota tourism video but a thunderstorm hit when we were supposed to shoot and it never happened.
This isn't me either but there are a couple of good waterski turns here:

When I was in grade school I regularly skiied at Mt. Mansfield in Stowe VT with my family. Watching Miller documentaries was part of the ski culture.
