(Doug) We knew at the time, the armed insurrection theory lacked two elements, armed and insurrection.
We also knew a day in advance that Nancy's daughter was going to be an official videographer, so the event wasn't exactly a surprise attack.
If you define the choices, armed insurrection or a pretend committee of Congress shaping film and testimony into something more than it was... saying we will all laugh about this someday reveals (to me) she saw the hearings and claims about it as something of a hoax.
For comparison, I doubt the people at the Nuremberg trials said we will all laugh about this someday.
Nancy's daughter was right there, with her mother inside. She should have been the most scared. The quote doesn't indicate that. (My two cents)
