Heard on the internet, Biden's failure to fire Kimberly Cheatle, the head of the Secret Service, reveals his real medical problem, the man needs a backbone transplant.

He has never fired anyone to my knowledge.

He won't even fire himself.

Perhaps you meant to put this in the Biden Administration thread?   The Administrative Agency thread would be a good fit as well.

A good post to kick off our new Trump 2.0 thread

Reagan Biographer Steve Hayward lays out the Trump inauguration day afternoon agenda with VDH-like specificity:

Seriously, if we win the trifecta, even by a hair, what is the plan?  Sit on our thumbs?  Overreach like Democrats do?  Or govern they way things should be governed?

Good question.

I'm seeing Elon on government waste and effiency and I'm seeing Vivek for the War on the Administrative State (especially the SES folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) as being two big plays.

I'm also seeing "Drill Baby Drill" and "Shutting off the flood at the border" with ramping up for serious numbers of deportations (they WILL BE fierce resistance here!!!!!!!!)

Also:

Extending the Trump tax cuts should be pretty straightforward and market will love it.

Seems to me like some pretty substantial and genuine bites at the apple.

And he’s paying for it out of his pocket, rather than allowing the GAO to do so and thus influence selections:

Nikki Haley

yes she waited till the end to endorse Trump

seems to be to keep her political future viable

yes she made some gaffes in her campaign

yes she may be a part RINO

but I think she should be given some role in the Administration 2024.

God willing, we could start new thread for Trump administration '24.

I would like to see Vivek and the idea of Elon is clearly a great one.

Pompeo needs to be back.

Maybe Flynn.

DOJ - I don't know enough to hazard a choice.

Energy - maybe Bergun if that does not leave N Dakota at risk of a crat taking over governor.

Although late, maybe this is perfect timing. We keep hearing about the gender gap. She is supposed to represent the moderate voice of the female, Suburban vote, exactly what is needed to close the order.

Haley, RFK jr and Musk are 3 drawing cards better than Liz Cheney for sure and more of a surprise with more substance than winning Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, etc, already known Democrats.

Agree and I am thinking Cheney has a chance to stay in politics working for crats.

I am wondering if she is the Republican that Harris keeps hinting she wants in her administration.

It would have to be some never Trumper turncoat of course.  Not a serious R.
