We better start campaigning for the felon vote.  They are.  Talk about a captive audience.

Mentioned previously, going through the mailbox of my covid deceased tenant was an ACLU liberal-Left solicitation targeting his felon vote.  Liberal groups have access to all government records and lists...

Where I live, the felons are already voting, at least once.

FO: Today's episode in rigging the election

(2) SBA ENTANGLING ITSELF IN ELECTIONEERING ACTIVITIES IN SWING STATE: During a House Small Business Committee hearing, Rep. Roger Williams (R-TX) said the Small Business Administration (SBA) “has entangled itself in electioneering activities” it lacks a constitutional basis for after the SBA entered into a memorandum of understanding with the state of Michigan to register voters ahead of the November election.

According to Foundation for Government Accountability senior director Stewart Whitson, the Biden administration using the SBA to register voters in Michigan is “Zuckerbucks” on an unimaginable scale, and the Biden administration is not being transparent about the use of federal agencies for voter registration and “get out the vote” operations.

Job Creators Network Foundation President Elaine Parker said the SBA is going into specific areas in Michigan to do targeted voter registration.

Why It Matters: The SBA is engaging in what appears to be targeted voter registration efforts as part of a larger effort of federal agencies and regulators to boost President Biden’s reelection effort. This SBA action is the result of a Biden Executive Order (EO) issued in 2023, termed “Biden Bucks,” that directed federal agencies to establish voter registration initiatives. That EO also directed federal agencies to work with “approved third-party organizations” to register “underserved populations.” This appears to be a move by the Biden administration to facilitate non-governmental organization ballot harvesting in a 2024 battleground state using federal money. – R.C.

PP: 200 Mules not worthy
« Reply #2806 on: June 07, 2024, 09:32:29 AM »

Trouble with "2000 Mules": It's an article of faith among diehard Democrats that Joe Biden got all 81 million of those votes on the up-and-up. Sentient beings, though, don't buy it — not with tens of millions of mail-in ballots flooding the 2020 electoral zone, and not with the power-mad Democrats' penchant for cheating. Dinesh D'Souza's documentary about this very topic, "2000 Mules," was supposed to be the smoking-gun proof that Dems stole the 2020 election, and we wrote as much here. Then, two weeks later, we hedged our bet. Now, The Wall Street Journal reports, "Salem Media Group, which co-produced this Trumpian fantasy mockumentary, ceased distribution of the film and issued an apology to Mark Andrews, one of the Georgia voters depicted as an illegal ballot 'mule.'" Andrews was depicted as having stuffed ballots into a collection box, but after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation cleared him of any wrongdoing, he settled his defamation suit with Salem "for a significant amount." The Journal's editors apparently think this means that cellphone geolocation is an unreliable investigative technology, even though it's been used to locate people at crime scenes and thereby put them in prison. And they believe that if D'Souza blew it with Andrews, then he blew it with everyone else he geolocated. Conservatives bear a higher burden of accuracy than our leftist counterparts, and "2000 Mules" didn't meet that burden. We look forward to hearing D'Souza's mea culpa for the Andrews failure and, if he sees fit, his defense of the rest of the film.

The Left’s Attach on the Ballot Box
« Reply #2807 on: June 09, 2024, 11:39:37 AM »
Wonder what they are planning for ‘24?

The Left's Attack on the Secret Ballot and on Same Day Voting

Mail in voting over a period of weeks with drop boxes eliminates the secret ballot, and the need for everyone to vote on the same day, with the same headlines in mind, and not over the period of a month.

STEVEN CALABRESI | 6.8.2024 1:08 AM
Using the the Covid pandemic as an excuse, the Left in 2020 massively changed the way presidential elections are held in this country. Whereas previously the secret ballot and same day voting was the norm, and one needed an excuse to get an absentee ballot, suddenly the Left declared it was essential to switch to mail in voting, for any reason at all, over a period of many weeks.

Swarms of Democratic vote canvassers knocked on the doors of thousands of people who had not yet voted "by mail" and offered to "help" them "make their vote count". Ballots were filled in by voters at home. possibly with canvassers or family members, "observing" how each person voted. Canvassers then "offered" to deliver the "harvested ballots" to "drop boxes" saving voters the trouble of turning them in themselves. The net result was that Donald Trump got more votes in Pennsylvania in 2020 than Barack Obama had in either 2008 or in 2012, but he still fell 80,555 votes short of Joe Biden because "mail-in" voting with no secret ballot and canvassers conveying your ballot for you to the polls or a drop box was such a hit.

In 2008, Barack Obama got 3,276,363 votes for President in Pennsylvania. In 2012, Barack Obama got 2,990,274 votes for President in Pennsylvania. In 2020, Donald Trump topped both of Obama's vote numbers in 2008 and in 2012 by getting 3,377,674 votes for President in Pennsylvania. Donald Trump exceeded Barack Obama's 2008 vote total in Pennsylvania by 101,311 votes.  Trump "lost" the "counted vote" in Pennsylvania in 2020 by 80,555 because Joe Biden got an "astonishing" 3,458,229 votes in Pennsylvania in 2020.

I do not myself believe that there was fraud in the counting of ballots or voting machine malfunctions. I do believe, however, that the unprecedented use of mail in voting over a period of many weeks, with the loss of the secret ballot, and drop boxes, produced a fundamentally illegitimate Biden victory in 2020 in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. I simply do not believe that in an honestly held traditionally run presidential election that Joe Biden would get 181,866 more votes for President in 2020 in Pennsylvania than Barack Obama got in 2008.

As a result, many Republicans, myself included, thought that the 2020 presidential election was probably stolen, even though that fact could not be proved in a court of law. President Trump himself did not claim right after the election that mail in voting and the loss of the secret ballot had altered the vote count in the 2020 election. He waited for two weeks and asked for hopeless recounts instead. No recount in Pennsylvania was ever going to erase an 80,555 Biden lead in votes counted at the polls. The margins Trump lost by in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona were simply too big to change after endless recounts. Some Republicans, including me, therefore acquiesced in Joe Biden taking office because we thought we had to do that to preserve a facade of democracy absent concrete proof of vote fraud.  But deep down in our guts we thought that Joe Biden's campaign had probably won with dirty tricks, although that could not proved in a court of law.

We did not side with President Trump on January 6, 2021 because we did not want the GOP controlled state legislatures of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona to declare Trump re-elected given the returns at the polls. The question was what outcome was worse for our democracy? Going by the vote count on Election Day or letting state legislators pick the President, which had never before been done in American history. Reluctantly, we went along with allowing Joe Biden to be crowned the winner based on the vote count on election day, but we felt then and will always feel that Biden may well have been an illegitimate President.

We disapproved of Trump's behavior on January 6, 2021, not because his claim of election fraud was wrong, but because he as President did not articulate this claim in anything remotely resembling  a compelling way nor did he call on his supporters to forgo violence in the way of a Martin Luther King or a Mahatma Gandhi, and as a result five people died in a riot. The election fraud that wrongly cost Trump his victory in 2020 was caused by mail in voting, drop boxes for ballots, and the loss of the secret ballot. President Trump's mistake was in not complaining much more loudly before the vote was counted that the rules of the game had been rigged against him to produce an undemocratic outcome.

Biden said as a candidate in 2020 that he was a moderate liberal, but he proceeded to govern like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren except for the refusal of two brave Democrats, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, to go along with that nonsense. Manchin and Sinema will both be booted out of the Senate come January 3, 2025, as a result. Biden said as a candidate that he would depoliticize the criminal justice process. Instead, his Department of Justice has used an unconstitutionally appointed Special Prosecutor to indict former President Donald Trump—the first time in history that a former President has been indicted. Hillary Clinton was given a pass on the misuse of classified documents, but not so Donald Trump. Biden's Democrats even got Trump unconstitutionally convicted for altering business records to conceal the Trump Organization's involvement in First Amendment protected speech in a New York State trial that was truly a charade.

We are now about to choose again between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in a presidential election year—2024—which is totally free of the fears of infection in public places caused by Covid. Here are three things we should insist on: 1) a return to truly secret ballots cast in polling booths with the curtain shut behind the voter; 2) no use of drop boxes, and 3) that everyone votes on the same day, with the same headlines in mind, and not over the period of a month.

The loss of the secret ballot, the use of drop boxes, and of same day voting is a huge change in our democracy, which ought to be abandoned now that Covid is gone. You cannot fill out a ballot at home in most cases without your family members knowing how you voted and that means the sudden loss of the secret ballot. Partisan canvassers may also observe how people vote, intimidating them and undermining their independence.

The secret ballot is of central importance in elections, especially when candidates generate the passionate feelings of hatred that are generated by Donald Trump and Joe Biden. This is a hatred that pits family members and even long-time friends against one another sometimes ruining long-cherished relationships. If ever, there was to be a presidential election for which the secret ballot was essential, it is this year's rematch between President Trump and Joe Biden.

It is equally important that all Americans vote on the same day, after the same news cycle, with the same information before them. Ballots arriving by mail day after day, after Election Day, discourages confidence that an election has been fair. If you are in the military or have some other good reason for needing an absentee ballot, you should be allowed to have one. But, if we want elections the outcomes of which people have confidence in, we simply have to return to our traditional system of the secret ballot, no use of drop boxes, and same day voting. Otherwise, our democracy is doomed.

[UPDATE 6/8/24 19:25 pm: This post was corrected, to further make clear that the concern is about influence on voters rather than fraud in the counting of votes or vote machine error; see the post above.]

I got an email from Rep Donaldson to donate for out version of ballot harvesting.
It seems absolutely necessary but was unsure to donate
Anyone else get this
and should I donate.

Between this and Democrats illegally being registered especially in states that do not check for voter It (totally disgusting)
is where we are most vulnerable to another replay of '20.

(2) EXPERT: NEVADA ELECTRONIC VOTING EXPANSION IS HIGH RISK: Brennan Center for Justice election expert Larry Norden said Nevada’s plan to expand fully electronic voting with no paper ballots to tribal lands in the state is concerning due to security risks and public confidence.

The FBI and other federal agencies told state election officials ahead of the 2020 election that returning ballots through electronic means was a high-risk activity.

Why It Matters: This is very likely a move by Nevada state Democrats to expand the Democratic election advantage in the battleground state ahead of the November election. According to aggregate polling, Trump is currently five points ahead of Biden in Nevada, and exit polling from the 2022 midterm election shows Native American voters support Democrats by 56%. Americans’ faith in the U.S. electoral system is falling, and a move to expand fully electronic voting is likely to undermine confidence in Nevada’s election results in November. – R.C.

Will look to remember to paste WT articles:

Tide is turning against ranked choice voting

Scheme leads to diminished public confidence

By Jason Snead and Trent England

Election tampering isn’t always obvious. Sometimes, it’s hiding in plain sight. Such is the case with ranked choice voting, an innocuous-sounding scheme that left-wing billionaires have been installing around the country to enhance democracy. In truth, ranked choice voting, or RCV, replaces our cherished “one person, one vote” system with a distorted voting method that gives an edge to extremist candidates who would not otherwise prevail in an honest, straightforward election.

We can be thankful for the leadership of Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry, who just last week signed a bill prohibiting RCV in any local, state or federal elections in his state. Mr. Landry is part of a principled vanguard of state officials working to face down RCV and roll it back. Louisiana joins nine other states that have acted to defend its residents’ right to fair elections in which every vote counts. Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Oklahoma have banned RCV this year alone.

The tide is turning against RCV. The reason is simple: Everywhere RCV is tried, it leaves a trail of discarded ballots, extensive voting errors, delayed election results, interminably slow polling place lines, and diminished voter confidence.

The basic mechanics of RCV are daunting. For each election, voters must rank candidates in order of their preference. In federal elections, wading through the numerous races and candidates can be a lengthy, if not overwhelming, task. It can be worse in some local elections with dozens of little-known candidates.

Suppose no candidate emerges with a majority at first. In that case, tabulation machines eliminate the candidate with the fewest first-place votes and redistribute his or her ballots to each voter’s next-highest choice. The process is repeated until a candidate garners the majority of the remaining votes.

Ranked choice voting is cumbersome, explaining why many voters skip the ranking part and just vote once for their preferred candidate. But if that candidate is eliminated, their ballot gets tossed out, effectively disenfranchising those voters. It’s as if they never went through the trouble of turning out to vote.

Studies confirm that the number of ballots routinely thrown out is substantial. Even the George Soros–funded RCV advocacy group FairVote concedes that, on average, nearly 1 in 3 voters do not rank multiple candidates in RCV elections.

The fact that a candidate who initially polled the second- or third-most ballots can win a majority of the final votes is a key feature explaining the far left’s enthusiasm for ranked choice voting. It gives their candidates a fighting chance to circumvent the true majority of voters’ will, pushing American politics to the left.

For example, in a 2022 special election for a U.S. House seat in Alaska, Republican candidates initially garnered 60% of the vote. Yet after earning just 40.2% of first-place votes cast, Democrat Mary Peltola was ultimately declared the winner. After the first-round tabulation, 11,222 ballots that didn’t indicate their second-most preferred candidate were tossed out. Of those who voted for third-place candidate Nick Begic, 21% didn’t list a second-place pick, effectively placing their ballots in the trash before the final round of tabulation.

With those ballots eliminated, Ms. Peltola claimed a majority of 51.5% even though she was preferred by only a minority of voters. The process was so confusing that state officials concealed the election results for 15 days while trying to gather and tabulate votes.

Alaska’s experience is not an aberration. In Maine, the only other state conducting federal elections under RCV, a Democratic candidate won a congressional race in 2018 despite the Republican receiving more votes in the first round of voting.

Fortunately, disenfranchised Alaskans will get a shot at righting a wrong. A citizen-led initiative has placed the repeal of ranked choice voting on this fall’s ballot. If it succeeds, Alaska will junk the scheme responsible for trashing so many citizens’ votes. And Missouri voters will consider a constitutional amendment proposal that would shield them from RCV ballot tampering.

If they succeed, they will follow Aspen, Colorado, and other municipalities that have had miserable experiences with RCV and ultimately walked away from it. In Utah, half of the cities that participated in an RCV pilot program have already tossed it on the proverbial ash heap of history.

The tide is starting to turn against ranked choice voting. However, given the mass of dark money behind it, more states should follow the lead of Louisiana and the other nine states that have banned RCV to protect ballot integrity from this latest threat.

Jason Snead and Trent England are chairmen of the Stop Ranked Choice Voting Coalition and au-thors of “The Case Against Ranked-Choice Voting.”

NYP: How non-citizens get to vote

How non-citizens are getting voter registration forms across the US — and how Republicans are trying to stop it
By Social Links forJosh Christenson
Published June 14, 2024, 3:07 p.m. ET

Welfare offices and other agencies in 49 US states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship, leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.

Every state but Arizona — which recently passed a law barring the practice on state but not federal forms — gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship.

There is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of US citizenship, though it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot in a federal election.

But millions of migrants with humanitarian parole, refugee or asylum status are eligible for benefits that would bring them to the offices where voter registration takes place.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 ordered states to register voters at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and agencies where Americans apply for public benefits — and those offices are required by federal law to hand over the registration forms along with the application papers.

MS-13, Russian mobsters use migrants in elaborate injury scam — even getting spinal surgery to pull it off: sources
If an applicant attests that they are a US citizen, that is considered valid on its face and the person is registered to vote.

The House Administration Committee last month approved the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to require states to receive proof of citizenship when anyone registers to vote by mail, at a DMV or a welfare agency office.

“While Biden and radical progressive Democrats give ISIS and criminals an app to literally schedule their illegal entry, Republicans must fight any chance of illegal voter registration until we can mass deport,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who introduced the measure, told The Post.

“As President Biden has welcomed millions of illegal aliens through our borders, including sophisticated criminal syndicates and foreign adversaries, it is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater enforcement measures that secure the voter registration process and ensure only American citizens decide the outcome of American elections,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said in a statement following its approval.

“As President Biden has welcomed millions of illegal aliens through our borders … it is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater enforcement measures that secure the voter registration,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said.

“It is undeniable that the current structure makes it possible for illegal immigrants and non-citizens to vote — and the American people have no way of knowing how widespread the problem may be,” Ryan Walker, executive vice president at the conservative Heritage Foundation’s sister group, Heritage Action, told The Post.

“The SAVE Act puts all of these issues to rest and gives Americans confidence that our elections are decided on a more even playing field,” Walker said.

House Republican leaders have yet to schedule a floor vote for the measure, though one Hill source suggested to The Post it could come up before the August recess.

The left-leaning Campaign Legal Center has opposed the SAVE Act as a “shameful” measure that will “undermine trust in the electoral process,” dismissing concerns over non-citizen voting and declaring it has not taken place “at any meaningful level.”

“It’s a fabrication being peddled, for personal and political gain, by leaders who should know better,” said Campaign Legal Center executive director Adav Noti in a statement as the House Administration Committee prepared to consider the SAVE Act.

“Shameful bills like the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act often result in eligible US citizens being incorrectly prevented from voting or being forced to jump through additional hoops to exercise their freedom to vote. Campaign Legal Center opposes this bill,” Noti added.

But federal prosecutions, state investigations and audits have shown in recent years that thousands of non-citizens are being registered.

In Georgia, one of several battleground states that delivered Biden his victory in the 2020 election, left-wing voter groups sued Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger earlier this year for trying to implement citizenship verification methods.

“It’s a real problem, not an imaginary problem,” former FEC commisioner Hans von Spakovsky told The Post.

Hundreds of non-Americans have since been caught after casting ballots in races ranging from the local to the presidential, and subsequently purged from voter rolls.

Hans von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at the Heritage Foundation, presented many such examples in testimony to the House committee ahead of the panel’s May 23 approval of the SAVE Act.

“It’s a real problem, not an imaginary problem,” von Spakovsky told The Post.

The numbers are not enough to change election results — even in critical swing states like Pennsylvania — but they are enough to cause consternation as a record-breaking number of migrants have entered the US every year since 2021.

Hundreds of migrants wait in front of the wall to be able to turn themselves in to the border patrol in American territory, to request humanitarian asylum.

That figure is expected to rise to 8 million by October of this year.

At the same time, the Biden administration has expanded access to health care and other benefits, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, putting many migrants within reach of voter registration.

At least 19 states and Washington, DC, also allow non-citizens to obtain driver’s licenses, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures, a move that Biden supported during his 2020 presidential campaign.

In March, a federal judge upheld the Arizona law requiring proof of citizenship on state registration forms — with federal forms only requiring a signed statement confirming US citizenship to comply with the NVRA.

Carveouts in the SAVE Act also still allow for reasonable accommodations to be made for disabled people who may have a different name on their identity documents, or those who are US citizens but lack documentation and may make a signed attestation.

The bill would also force states to kick non-citizens off voter rolls, which can be verified through access to federal databases at the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration.

“What I’ve seen over the years is [federal agencies] put up all kinds of red tape to make it difficult for state election officials to access their databases,” von Spakovsky noted. “This bill tries to override that too.”

“Congress has the authority to deal with this issue,” he added, pointing out that the Constitution empowers US lawmakers to sort out questions about naturalization at both the state and federal level.

Von Spakovsky believes that if the SAVE Act successfully amends the NVRA, proof-of-citizenship laws would “get passed in a lot of states” — such as New Hampshire, where such a bill is under consideration.

The SAVE Act would further allow Americans to bring civil lawsuits against election officials who don’t have their agencies demand proof-of-citizenship documents.

A spokesperson for Rep. Joe Morelle (D-NY), the lone Democrat who opposed the bill in committee proceedings, did not respond to a request for comment.

Even if it passes the House, the SAVE Act will face an uphill battle for consideration by the Democrat-controlled Senate, though several Republican members of the upper chamber have already signaled their support.

A spokesperson for Rep. Joe Morelle (D-NY), the lone Democrat who opposed the bill in committee proceedings, did not respond to a request for comment.

"Preventing non-citizens and illegal aliens from registering and voting in American elections should be a 100% issue in Congress,” Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) told The Post.

“Unfortunately, Democrats have taken the stance that it never happens — which is false — so we shouldn’t give states the tools to ensure it doesn’t happen — which is absurd,” Lee said.

“The SAVE Act would defend election integrity and preserve public trust in the voting process,” he added, “something we need now more than ever.”

I truly fear this is how they will steal the election.
again.

"How non-citizens are getting voter registration forms across the US"

Mentioned previously, the City of Minneapolis mailed me multiple voter registration forms throughout the last election years even though the mailing address makes clear I'm not a resident of Minneapolis.  They certainly didn't care if I was a resident, a citizen, an incarcerated felon or even whether I was of voting age.  Had I mailed these back in with different names or answers, I assume they still wouldn't care, still wouldn't check.  As a 'sanctuary city' that doesn't ask if you're a citizen to live their or get water service, they know they are sending voter registrations to all non-citizens (and their families) who receive a water bill or any other correspondence from the City.

But these people (who broke the law to get here) wouldn't break the law, right?

They won't let me present ID when I vote.  I held my drivers' license out but when they said 'we won't be using that here' I was afraid my zipper was down.  Why wouldn't they want ID?

https://www.justfacts.com/news_non-citizen_voter_registration
Just Facts, an independent New Jersey research organization, released the results of its study in June 2017.  Using extensive data from a Harvard/YouGov study of tens of thousands of voters, Just Facts “estimated that as many as 7.9 million noncitizens were illegally registered to vote in 2008, and 594,000 to 5.7 million voted [in the 2008 U.S. presidential election].”

https://cblwomen.org/2017/06/how-many-illegals-vote/
Research published in 2016 in the Electoral Studies Journal by political scientists Jesse T. Richman and Gushan A. Chattha of Old Dominion, and David C. Earnest of George Mason University estimated as many as 2.8 million illegal votes were cast in the 2008 and 2010 elections.  Non-citizen participation in U.S. elections, wrote the authors, “has been large enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral Colleges votes, and Congressional elections.”

Snopes, FALSE, https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/non-citizens-voting/

[Doug]  Easy to say false and criticize methods since no one know exactly how many illegals vote.  But it's stupid to say the right number is zero.  Without a doubt, we had illegals voting before 2020 and the rules changes of that election year and since have made it MUCH EASIER to do so.

We have the US Census counting illegals essentially as legal.

Now we have places like NYC legalizing the non-citizen vote.

Other studies show the vast majority of the illegals voting vote Democrat.  Hence the incentive to leave the border open and for amnesty.

NYT: Higher turnout favors Trump
« Reply #2820 on: June 16, 2024, 10:58:31 AM »
Counterintuitive, at least to liberals: higher voter turnout favors Trump.

Higher turnout favors Trump
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/15/upshot/election-democrats-republicans-turnout-trump.html

GOTV (Get Out The Vote) operations used to yield one Dem vote gained for every person they turned out.  Democrats worked the welfare rolls for voters, (want to lose your check?). As the minorities turn rightward and the elite rich turn leftward, simply working the 'hoods for voters doesn't pay off the way it used to.

Dominion machines fukking up in Puerto Rico
« Reply #2823 on: June 17, 2024, 09:10:26 AM »
(3) PUERTO RICO REVIEWS DOMINION CONTRACT AFTER BALLOT PROBLEMS: Puerto Rico Elections Commission president Jessika Padilla said the commission is reviewing its contract with Dominion Voting Systems after 1050 ballot discrepancies were reported during Puerto Rico’s recent primary election.

According to Padilla, a software issue caused the Dominion voting machines to incorrectly calculate vote totals, including reversing vote totals or reporting zero votes for certain candidates.

Why It Matters: Dominion voting machines were at the center of alleged 2020 election irregularities, and some state houses and courts blocked reviews and challenges to the 2020 results. However, ballot irregularities have since been reported in some states, including Georgia and Arizona. These issues will very likely add to the growing public perception that the U.S. electoral system is not reliable or legitimate, increasing the likelihood of a 2024 election failure if ballot irregularities reappear in the November general election. – R.C.

Judicial Watch Documents 2020 Election Censorship Via FOIA
« Reply #2826 on: June 18, 2024, 08:27:16 AM »
Starting to look like it might take less time to document what wasn't censored in 2020

Judicial Watch: New Records Detail Federal-State Censorship Coordination in 2020 Election

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it received 110 pages of heavily redacted records from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit that show state election officials in the days before and after the 2020 election flagging online content deemed “misinformation” and sending it to the Center for Internet Security (CIS), a DHS-funded nonprofit, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), and others.

The records were obtained in response to a November 2022 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for records of communications between the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a division of DHS, and the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), which was created to suppress online election content for censorship and suppression (Judicial Watch Inc. vs. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (No. 1:22-cv-03560 )). Judicial Watch filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after DHS failed to respond to an October 2022, FOIA request.

The newly obtained records include a November 4, 2020, email report from CIS “Misinformation Reports” to Brian Scully, head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Mis-, Dis-, Malinformation (MDM) branch, a division of DHS. The report originated in the Washington State secretary of state’s office and states:

I wanted to flag the following tweet: [handle redacted]. There is no evidence for the claim being made of a widespread mail-in fraud operation to benefit Democrats in swing states.

The flagged tweet reads:

A note to ALL CONSERVATIVE media people projecting Trump victories in swing states:

Yes, Republican turn out may be strong!

Yes, that’s good news.

From a mail in state veteran: The Democrats will wait to know how many votes they have to “find”, then, they will magically appear.

On November 12, 2020, Scully sends an email with subject line “Hammer and Scorecard Tweets” to individuals whose names are redacted and have a @gmail email address a @stanford.edu email address respectively. Scully introduces the “program manager for the EIP” at Stanford University and who is “a friend of Director Krebs” (former CISA Director Chris Krebs).

The Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), which was initially called the Election Misinformation Partnership, was created in the days leading up to the November 3, 2020, election. It tasked staffers with monitoring online election content 24 hours a day with a priority being “disinfo that is going viral.”

On January 19, 2021, Scully receives an email with subject line “Draft: COVID-19 What to Expect and 60-Day Plan” from an individual with a @stanford.edu email address (whose name is redacted):

[Redacted] and I wanted to pass along SIO’s [Stanford Internet Observatory] vaccine misinfo what-to-expect and 60-day plan draft whitepaper for your feedback, find it attached. Please feel free to tear it apart — it is mainly based on our experience with EIP and the vaccine misinfo we’ve seen so far.

Two days later, a redacted sender from Stanford asks Scully to give feedback on an attached document, “Virality Project Jan 19 Vaccine Weekly Briefing,” which is not included with the responsive records provided to Judicial Watch.

On November 2, 2020, a person at Facebook’s U.S. Politics and Government Outreach whose name is redacted replies to “Misinformation Reports” at CIS, and CCs Scully, someone at CISA Central, someone at CFITF (CISA’s Counter Foreign Influence Task Force) and “tips@2020partnership.atlassian.net” with the subject “Facebook post alleging submitting multiple ballots fraudulently.” The Facebook official states: “On it now. Thanks!” regarding review of a social media post reported by the Iowa Secretary of State’s office. The Facebook post is redacted.

A November 4, 2020, email from Facebook is sent to “Misinformation Reports” at CIS, Scully, CISA Central, CFITF and “tips@2020partnership.atlassian.net.” It states: “Received and looking into this,” regarding review of a social media post reported by a government official in Kentucky. The Facebook post is redacted.

In a separate November 4, 2020, email regarding a social media post reported by a Kentucky government official, a Facebook official writes: “Confirming that this has been closed out and the SoS has been notified. Thanks!” The Facebook post is redacted.

“The records provide more disturbing evidence of a conspiracy by federal, state, and ‘private’ actors to censor Americans on social media during a presidential campaign,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Judicial Watch will continue to expose the government’s involvement in what is an ongoing and unprecedented attack on Americans’ First Amendment rights.”

Judicial Watch has been in the forefront of uncovering government efforts to censor free speech and suppress opposition.

In January 2023, Judicial Watch sued DHS for failing to respond to an October 11, 2023, FOIA for all records regarding Judicial Watch and its President Tom Fitton held by DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

In December 2023, Judicial Watch received records from DHS that showed a close collaboration between CISA and the leftist Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) to engage in “real-time narrative tracking” on all major social media platforms in the days leading up to the 2020 election.

In November 2023, Judicial Watch obtained records from DHS showing that CISA communicated during the 2020 election campaign with the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), which was created to flag online election content for censorship and suppression.

In October 2023, Judicial Watch sued the Department of Justice (DOJ) for records of any payments made by the FBI to Twitter (now known as X). The payments were disclosed in internal Twitter documents (the “Twitter Files”) made available by Elon Musk to journalists.

Also in October, Judicial Watch sued the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) for records concerning censorship of social media users.

In April 2023, Judicial Watch filed two lawsuits against the U.S. Department of Justice and other federal agencies for communications between the agencies and Facebook and Twitter regarding the government’s involvement in content moderation and censorship on the social media platforms.

In a separate lawsuit file in June 2023, Judicial Watch sued DHS for all records of communications tied to the Election Integrity Partnership. Based on representations from the EIP (see here and here), the federal government, social media companies, the EIP, theCenter for Internet Security (a non-profit organization funded partly by DHS and the Defense Department) and numerous other leftist groups communicated privately via the Jira software platform developed by Atlassian.

In February 2023, Judicial Watch sued the U.S. Department Homeland Security (DHS) for records showing cooperation between the Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (CISA) and social media platforms to censor and suppress free speech.

Judicial Watch in January 2023 sued the DOJ for records of communications between the FBI and social media sites regarding foreign influence in elections, as well as the Hunter Biden laptop story.

In September 2022, Judicial Watch sued the Secretary of State of the State of California for having YouTube censor a Judicial Watch election integrity video.

In May 2022, YouTube censored a Judicial Watch video about Biden corruption and election integrity issues in the 2020 election. Thevideo, titled “Impeach? Biden Corruption Threatens National Security,” was falsely determined to be “election misinformation” and removed by YouTube, and Judicial Watch’s YouTube account was suspended for a week. The video featured an interview of Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. Judicial Watch continues to post its video content on its Rumble channel (https://rumble.com/vz7aof-fitton-impeach-biden-corruption-threatens-national-security.html).

In July 2021, Judicial Watch uncovered records from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which revealed that Facebook coordinated closely with the CDC to control the Covid narrative and “misinformation” and that over $3.5 million in free advertising given to the CDC by social media companies.

In May 2021, Judicial Watch revealed documents showing that Iowa state officials pressured social media companies Twitter and Facebook to censor posts about the 2020 election.

In April 2021, Judicial Watch published documents revealing how California state officials pressured social media companies (Twitter, Facebook, Google (YouTube)) to censor posts about the 2020 election.

Judicial Watch has produced a four-part documentary, “Censored and Controlled,” that details the coordinated effort by the FBI and other government agencies and Big Tech to censor and suppress information on topics such as Hunter Biden’s laptop, Covid-19, and election debates.

WI Supremes OK bureaucrat mandated unsupervised drop boxes

Wisconsin’s top court rules widespread use of ballot drop boxes can resume

BY KERRY PICKET THE WASHINGTON TIMES

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that election officials can again position absentee ballot drop boxes throughout the state, not just at election offices.

The decision by the court’s new liberal majority reversed a July 2022 ruling by the court’s previous conservative majority that made widespread use of ballot drop boxes illegal. The last court ruled that state law did not permit drop boxes anywhere other than election clerk offices.

Democrats heralded the return of ballot drop boxes as a victory for democracy, and Republicans decried it as a setback for election integrity.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, a Republican, said the reversal amounts to legalizing voter fraud.

“Just after Wisconsinites voted overwhelmingly to bolster election integrity in the state, the liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court voted to overturn a previous precedent they set, effectively legalizing anonymous ballot box stuffing,” Mr. Tiffany said in a statement. “This decision not only opens the door to potentially fraudulent activities but also undermines the expressed desires of Wisconsin voters.”

Wisconsin GOP Chairman Brian Schimming called the ruling a “setback for both the separation of powers and public trust in our elections.”

“The left-wing justices on the Supreme Court of Wisconsin have obeyed the demands of their out-of-state donors at the expense of Wisconsin. This latest attempt by leftist justices to placate their far-left backers will not go unanswered by voters,” Mr. Schimming said.

Republicans have long criticized the use of drop boxes after then-Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden won Wisconsin in 2020 against then-President Trump by roughly 21,000 votes.

Democrats celebrated the new decision that allows voters to cast ballots into the locked unsupervised boxes. They said it makes voting more accessible and does “not impose barriers based on conspiracy theories.”

“By restoring access to safe and secure ballot drop boxes, the court has ensured voters in communities across Wisconsin — cities big and small, in red areas and blue areas — are able to exercise their right to vote in a way that works for them,” said Ben Wikler, chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

“Today’s rulings are a victory for Wisconsin’s constitution and our democracy, and should serve as a notice to Republican politicians in Madison — who have schemed for more than a decade to undermine the basic functions of our government — that the era of government sabotage is over.”

Democrats filed a lawsuit against the state’s prohibition on drop boxes just two weeks before the court’s new 4-3 liberal majority was seated.

According to the lawsuit, the drop boxes are critical for voters “who are unable to vote in person because of disability, scheduling conflicts, lack of transportation, or other hardship.”

When the conservative justices initially banned drop boxes in 2022, they said state law does not allow them in any location other than election clerk offices.

They also said that only the state legislature can establish policy related to the receptacles, not the Wisconsin Elections Commission, which issued guidance to clerks allowing the boxes in 2020.

The state Legislature is currently controlled by Republican majorities.

Ballot drop boxes have been available in Wisconsin since the 1980s, and hundreds more were installed during the COVID-19 pandemic to allow for voting while limiting person-to-person contact. In 2020, over 40% of the votes cast were from absentee ballots.

By 2021, there were about 570 drop boxes in Wisconsin, and the state’s 72 counties had at least 66 drop boxes as of spring 2021, which means the remaining cities can reinstall them before the August primaries, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Friday ruling comes just days after a Dane County circuit judge ordered Wisconsin election officials to email absentee ballots to disabled Wisconsin voters. These voters would still need to turn in the ballots by mail or deliver them to a local clerk’s office because they cannot cast their ballot by email.

How do we combat this?

station people 24/7 in shifts to observe and video?

How about park a car with a video camera in front aimed directly at drop box?

(3) WISCONSIN SUPREME COURT REVERSES BALLOT DROP BOX DECISION: The majority-liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that Wisconsin municipal election clerks can use secure ballot drop boxes at their own discretion, reversing its own 2022 ruling.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) said the decision affirms “what voting rights advocates, local elections officials, and countless others have argued all along: drop box voting is safe, secure, and legal.”

Why It Matters: This decision increases the likelihood that Biden, or the Democratic nominee if Biden drops out of the election, will take Wisconsin’s ten electoral votes in November. Biden won Wisconsin with less than 1% of votes in the state, and ballot harvesting operations in key districts will likely tip the scale in favor of the Democratic nominee. – R.C.

House R's and 5 D's pass bill to require voter ID to vote

Sadly, it is expected not to even be addressed in the Senate and of course Jill will guide Joe's hand vetoing it anyway.

So let me get this straight - it is already illegal for illegals to vote in Federal elections.  But we can't verify them because no ID is required - thus it is near impossible to prove they are illegal in the first place.

Plus if it is so rare, and there is "no proof" it occurs
then why not simply vote for the bill?
If it did not affect the outcomes as Dems claim then simply vote for it and increase citizen confidence in elections.

Instead they twist the logic upside down and tell us the bill will reduce voter confidence in elections and prevent those too poor who have no ID from voting .

(meaning ballot harvesting)

Who are the true liars - DJT or the entire LEFT machine?

~60K Fulton County Votes Said to have Poor “Justification”
« Reply #2842 on: July 11, 2024, 12:39:50 PM »
Just in time for 2024, 2020 vote audit results. Enough to have altered GA’s electoral votes. Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis unavailable for comment:

Georgia State Election Board complainants testify 58,924 votes lack source justification

By admin | July 11, 2024 0 Comment
Georgia State Election Board Testimony Reveals Alleged Voting Irregularities

During a recent hearing, Georgia State Election Board complainants Kevin Moncla and Joe Rossi made shocking allegations regarding the 2020 election in Fulton County. According to their testimony, up to 58,924 votes were certified without proper source justification, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the election process.

Questionable Votes

Moncla and Rossi specifically pointed to 3,125 ballots that were allegedly double scanned and double counted, a practice that is not only against election regulations but also undermines the democratic process. These irregularities call into question the accuracy and legitimacy of the election results in Fulton County.

Impact on Election Outcome

The revelation of these alleged voting irregularities has sparked widespread concern among Georgia residents and election officials. If true, the certification of nearly 59,000 votes without proper justification could have had a significant impact on the outcome of the 2020 election in the state.

Call for Investigation

In light of these serious allegations, there have been growing calls for a thorough investigation into the voting practices in Fulton County. Election integrity is a cornerstone of democracy, and any suggestion of wrongdoing must be taken seriously and investigated fully to ensure that the will of the people is accurately reflected in election results.

Response from Officials

Officials in Fulton County have denied any wrongdoing and have stated that they followed all appropriate procedures during the 2020 election. However, the testimony from Moncla and Rossi has raised serious doubts about the transparency and accuracy of the election process in the county.

What’s Next?

As the investigation into these alleged voting irregularities continues, it is crucial that the truth is uncovered and that any individuals or entities found to have violated election laws are held accountable. The integrity of our electoral system depends on fair and transparent elections, and any suggestion of fraud or misconduct must be thoroughly investigated.

Conclusion

The testimony from Kevin Moncla and Joe Rossi has brought to light serious concerns about the 2020 election in Fulton County. The allegations of double scanned and double counted ballots, as well as the certification of nearly 59,000 votes without proper justification, raise questions about the integrity of the election process in Georgia. It is essential that a thorough investigation be conducted to ensure that the will of the people is accurately reflected in election results and to uphold the principles of democracy.

(4) RNC, TRUMP FILE LAWSUIT AGAINST MI VOTER REGISTRATION EXPANSION: The Republican National Committee and Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, arguing that Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) violated federal and state law by designating federal and state offices as “voter registration agencies.”

Whitmer issued an executive directive in December 2023 that expanded the list of “voter registration agencies” before signing a memorandum of understanding with the Small Business Administration (SBA) in March 2024 to expand voter registration efforts.

Why It Matters: According to Republicans in the House, the SBA hosted and funded partisan voter registration efforts after signing the memorandum of understanding with Michigan state officials. State Republican Parties have not broadly made an effort to mitigate ballot harvesting and other voting law changes that give a partisan advantage to Democrats in battleground states, and the limited efforts have primarily been conducted by the Arizona GOP. Considering the evidence of other federal agency actions on political efforts like unionization, it appears the Biden administration is using federal agencies and money for partisan political efforts in Michigan. – R.C.

Not easy to do without the nominee being senile but still just wondering.

Undemocratic Elites & Their Impact on the Electoral Process

Almost started a “Uniparty” thread off this piece. Don’t think it quit fits here, but can’t think of a better place for this piece that speaks to the elites in both parties that limit choice and inspire populists like Trump to shake things up:

What Biden’s Decision Shows About Democratic Government

A romantic view of democracy depicts democratic governments as accountable to their citizens and acting in their citizens’ interests. An alternative view of democratic governments—and all governments—is that they are run by an elite few and act to further the interests of the elite.

This alternative view is not new and is widely expressed in both the academic literature and the popular press.

In his 1956 book, The Power Elite, C. Wright Mills observes,

The powers of ordinary men are circumscribed by the everyday world in which they live… But not all men are, in this sense, ordinary. As the means of information and power are centralized, some men come to occupy positions in American society from which they can look down upon, so to speak, and by their decisions mightily affect, the everyday world of ordinary men and women.

Mills calls those people the power elite. They are the ones who run governments.

Recognizing the influence of the elite, Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz says in his 2012 book The Price of Inequality, “It’s one thing to win a fair game. It’s quite another to be able to write the rules of the game—and write them in ways that enhance one’s prospects of winning. And it’s even worse when you can choose your own referees.” The elite run the government despite the illusion, in democracies, that they are accountable to the citizens.

Citizens recognize this, which accounts for the popularity of populist politicians who say they want to return power to the people. But this can’t happen. The election of populist leaders just shifts power from one set of elites to another. I explain why in this somewhat technical article.

There is the illusion that through democratic elections, citizens choose those who run the government. Still, popular elections give citizens only the choice to vote for candidates selected by one group of elites or another. In markets, people have the option of buying a wide variety of products. If they deem none satisfactory, they don’t have to buy anything. In elections, they have very limited choices—choices offered to them by the elite. In markets, they get what they choose. In elections, how they vote has no effect on the outcome they get.

While it is true that all the votes taken together determine who is elected, in any but the smallest elections, voters know that their one vote will have no effect on the outcome.

President Biden’s presidency illustrates how the elite determines who will rule. In 2020, many Democrats were vying for their party’s nomination, but the Democratic elite viewed the front runners—Sanders, Buttigieg, and yes, Harris—as too extreme to win and pressured them to step aside so the more moderate Biden could get the nomination.

Now, in 2024, the Democratic elite have pressured President Biden to abandon his quest for a second term. On July 11, Biden said, “I think I’m the most qualified person to run for president. I beat him once, and I will beat him again.” He offered a similar message on July 9. Biden won his primary elections and would have taken a majority of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention. But the Democratic political elite forced him out of office a few weeks after he made his defiant stand against them.

As this article said, “Democratic lawmakers began calling on him to step aside, a rebellion that started slowly but grew steadily in size and intensity. Thirty-seven congressional Democrats, including independent Sen. Joe Manchin, who previously was in the Democratic Party, had called on Biden to drop out of the 2024 election before he delivered his decision Sunday afternoon.”

Having secured the primary votes to gain the party’s nomination, the party elite managed to displace Democratic voters’ choice, allowing the party elite to choose his replacement.

It is obvious in this case that the elite, not the voters, decide who will hold power, but this is true in every case. The voters can only vote for candidates offered to them by the elite.

My message here is not an attack on democratic elections. As long as there are competing elites, they constrain those in power. Come November, voters will have the choice of voting for one of two presidential candidates offered to them by their party elites (or a third-party candidate who can’t win). No individual’s vote will matter, even though taken together, they all determine the outcome.

And many voters have expressed dissatisfaction with all the candidates.

Just as there are power struggles between parties, there are power struggles within parties. Many Republicans did not support Trump in 2016, and quite obviously, Biden was on the losing end of a power struggle in 2024 despite being the sitting president.

Individual members of the masses have no power. Ultimately, the government is run by an elite few, as I have explained here and here. American democracy works as well as it does because competition among elites limits their ability to abuse power—not because elected officials are accountable to the voters. Without effective competition among elites, nations get governments like Putin’s Russia, Maduro’s Venezuela, or Kim’s North Korea.
